I am a New York-based documentary and travel photographer, interested in migration, diaspora culture, labor, and underrepresented populations. My creative experience also includes designing NGO reports and artisan handicrafts.
I lived for several years on the Thai-Burma border, consulting for Borderline Collective, directing the social enterprise Puzzlebox Art Studio, and designing print projects for Ibis Reproductive Health / Cambridge Reproductive Health Consultants as well as for local CBOs. Print and product designs can be viewed here. Mae Sot, Thailand is my second home, and I will forever be grateful for the people and experiences.
Please send inquiries to nancy@nancychuang.com. Prior to 2018 everything was shot on film, but current options are flexible.
