No, I don't know if she was drawing because she was bored while begging, or thought that people would be inclined to give her candy because she was drawing. Would have been a nice time to have a guide.

Worth getting up early for a drive out of town to visit Banteay Srei. Maybe this one also gets busier later in the day, but even at the relatively late hour of...7:30, maybe? there were only about 6-8 other tourists.
