Finally we headed out one of the many "official illegal" boat crossings between Myanmar and Thailand and continued to distribute food there. Refugees who had been walking the full 6km in full sun back from the army base were picked up in passing trucks.

With people leaving the army base, Help Without Frontiers headed out to the middle of the Asia Highway near the Friendship Bridge to distribute the rest of the food to those passing by.

Help Without Frontiers' staff makes food for migrant schools. With donations from the Thai Burma Border Consortium and the government of Mae Sot, HWF brought in extra volunteers to prepare food for the new refugees.
