It's strange that this even became a tourist attraction (if one tourist every two or three days counts as an attraction) because the water buffalo stable is nearly 40 minutes by boat outside of Negara. But here it is and there we were. If I hadn't had the little Barabai excursion the previous day, I would've had more time to watch all the buffalo come back by evening, but as it is I could only stay until about 4pm and then rush back to Kandangan to catch my bus to Samarinda.
