Coffee kids | San Juan, Honduras

I love these kids! I came to the coffee farm to learn the process of picking and shelling coffee beans, but was so charmed by the large family living there. They were equally charmed by the flip-out screen on my camera, giggling at the images of themselves.

Toasting coffee | San Juan, Honduras

Doña Soledad was the mother of Gladys Nolasco, the tourism contact for San Juan. The room I stayed in was basically part of her house. In the morning I woke up to homemade breakfast in her kitchen, and then she taught me how to toast her delicious coffee (from the farm I'd visited the day before).

One of the most beautiful little boys I'd ever seen. He set up shop and sold candies outside Doña Soledad's doorway to passerby.
